Hey,

How can i select multiple divs at once so that i can move them up or down the page.

Ok im new to Dreamweaver and when i need to add some extra space in my layout from PS im having to manually hold down shift while i click on every div so i can move them down the page.

Is there a way i can select all of the divs at once?

I think the is something called wrapping. Can i come and draw a new div over the selected divs i want to move and put them in the "wrapper" div and move them all down?

How do i do that?

lol and yes i know i might have just answered my own question.

A div can contain as many divs as you want so this is how you wrap them.

This would look like

<div id="wrapper">
<div id="content"></div>
</div>

as well as this you can apply styles to more than one element by using a group selector, this would look like

#wrapper, #content {
bacground: red;
}
