Hi guys...

I've a simple problem: working on my dreamweaver mx, I've copied a table from a web-page, and would like to delete all formatting of the table (style, class, etc), leaving only table code and contents...

do you know if DW has a function to do this?

thanks a lot...

Best thing to do is delete the whole table and replace it with a Div unless you are actually displaying tabular data, such as a calendar.

really the table is the calendar of a sport competition.. with date, hemte/away team, hours, etc... isn't in DW a special function who allow me to clean all the table code?

Well if you are displaying tabular data which you are you are right to be using a table. Don't think there's a command that does what you want though, wouldn't it be just as easy to recreate the table?

you could take just the table and put it in a new page then use hte find and replace options to strip out all the unwanted tags.

Just highlight the elements and remove the style, no?

Just highlight the elements and remove the style, no?

if it's a lot of data/cells this could be quite laborious compared to the
strip tag' of find and replace ;)

ah yes, if you remove the class or ID. I was thinking of removing the CSS rules.
