Hi all,

I'm creating an email verification system and have manged to do everything.

Whats bugging me and for the life of me I cannot figure out what the problem is. All emails generated are going to junk mail :(

Any help would be much appreciated.

Here's my code:

ini_set("sendmail_from", "aaa@bbb.com");
ini_set ( "SMTP", "smtp.bbb.com" );
$to = $row_EmailVerification['Username'];
$confirm_code=$row_EmailVerification['Confirm_code'];

$message="Your Confirmation link is\r\n";
$message.="Click on this link to activate your account \r\n";
$message.="http://localhost/lvs/verification.php?passkey=$confirm_code";

$headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$headers .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";
$headers .="from: My Name <myname@myDomain.com>";

mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers);

Regards
Norbert

Hi ed,

The email I am using is not a webased yahoo, hotmail or gmail. It is an ISP provided email ID. :(

Add the sender to you address book or white list, should take care of the problems as well.
