Hello all,

I have a left nav div and a middle nav div. Enclosed within those div tags are pop up boxes with show-hide behavior each div is called DescriptionLeft or Right....here is the CSS

#LEFT {
position: relative;
width: 200px;
border: 2px solid #FF9900;
float: left;
z-index:1;
}

#MIDDLE {
position: relative;
width: 800px;
overflow: auto;
border: 2px solid #FF9900;
float:left;
margin-left: 20px;
z-index:0;
}
#DESCRIPTIONLEFT{
width: 200px;
height:200px;
border:1px Solid black;
background-color:#FFFFFF;
position: absolute;
top:00px;
left:425px;
color:#000000;
font:sans-serif;
font-size:1em;
visibility:hidden;
/* CSS3 standard*/
opacity:0.6;
/*For IE*/
filter:alpha(opacity=60);
z-index:10000;

}
#DESCRIPTIONMIDDLE{
width: 200px;
height: 200px;
border:1px Solid black;
background-color: #ffffff;
position: absolute;
top:150px;
left:250px;
color:#000000;
font:sans-serif;
font-size:1em;
visibility:hidden;
/* CSS3 standard*/
opacity:0.6;
/*For IE*/
filter:alpha(opacity=60);
}

My problem is that Description Left when i put the z-index to 10000 doesn't show ABOVE the content within the Middle div tag. Anyone know why? DescriptionMiddle works fine and is on top of everything.

Thank you for your help
