Hello,
I am new to dreamweaver and hope you can help me. I have created a table with one row and five columns. I have created defined border around the table but what I would also like to do is separate the five columns within the table and give them the same definition that I have around the table (a single black line). Can anybody advise accordingly as to how to give the columns definitions and separate them? I've been looking at properties but can't find how to do it.
Also, when I do create the definitions, can I then adjust their width in a relatively simple manner - drag them across?
Thanks for your help.
Michael

best advice i can give is do not spend time learning how to do this with tables, rather get straight into using divs and styling with css,
to give a simple example in styling a class example

.box{width:50px; height30px: border:solid #000 1 px: margin-right 3px;position:relative; float:left:}

then having <div class="box"> </div>will give you as many instances as yo want
