View Full Version : Centering Layers - Again

I am getting back to Dreamweaver after a year or two layoff. I forgot more than I knew. I've been struggling for 3 or 4 days now and at least am finally on the right track. I'm working with layers. I am running Dreamweaver 8.0

I've looked at some notes I took to center a web page last year. I've also looked at quite a few posts on this forum about Centering Layers. Unfortunately, I'm so rusty, I don' know which </head> code to change and which "<body>" code to change within my document. I've been experimenting for the past couple of hours, but with no luck.

Can anyone bail me out.

Here's the page (it is unfinished; test video instead of real intro, links don't work, etc., but I'd like to get the page centered before I move on)

Hope someone might be able to help.
Sorry I can't figure it out on my own.

I'll keep trying though, in case this is too much to ask on this forum.

You will need to place all the page content, the stuff between the body tags inside a div. Then style this div to be centered. Take a read of the DWC centered page tutorial (http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/css-center-content.php).

I had already read that tutorial, but couldn't get it to work. I was pretty sick when I was working on it though, so maybe I wasn't able to concentrate.

I will try it tomorrow when I have some free time. If I can't figure it out, I'll post again.

I appreciate the response.
