 Can anyone tell me how to correct my web page display? I have an overlay on a fixed attachment background, but the overlay is off to the right when displayed Explorer. The site is: http:urefillit.com (http://urefillit.com) Please take a look at it and advise. Thank you sales@urefillit.com

You need to remove the absolute positioning and follow the center tutorial in the tutorials section in this website.
I would also remove the email from your posts unless you like spam ;)

and do you realise how hard it is to read the text against that background? (which incidentally is too big at over 370k!)

What background would you suggest? I am very new at this and I am not sure what you are suggesting regarding the 370K? Are you saying reduce the size of the font? Or the background? If it is the background, would it not take away the space needed to the navigation bar, etc.? Thank you

ah i see you have a beige background that shows in IE, but NOT in firefox... maybe because you have no table cells in your table (i.e. <td> )

and i would like to sincerely suggest that particularly for a business site you need a properly built site NOT made with tables and with valid code according to the standards of the World Wide Web Consortium.
i would start here
http://www.htmldog.com
http://www.w3schools.com/
http://www.cssbasics.com
http://www.opera.com/wsc/

and if you feel that those things are beyond at the moment then consider hiring someone to do it for you ;)

Thank you for the information!! I am very new at this, but I managed to get what you were trying to convey to me... I set the CSS at "relative" and the positioning at top: 25, bot: 25, left: 25 & Right: 25

Thank you again

I may just hire someone... Right now it is a extremely limited operation and I would have to find someone who will put it together for me for a very low price.. Any ideas where I can find a gut/girl who is willing to put it together for just a few dollars?

I just fixed the clolor for Firefox. When I did the index page I cut and pasted it from another page which I used for practice... What I did not realize is that the color code was not copied for Firefox.

Also specify if you need the whole website done (my recommendation) or just 'fix' certain things.

I have to agree about the website reflecting your business.. please take it the right way when I say it does not look to be a website from a serious/trustable business at the moment.

I would do the whole site... if it would not cost too much... I truly thank you for your honesty about the site. I appreciate it.fjp800@gmail.com (it.fjp800@gmail.com)
