Hello. I know it asking a lot, but I am artist and new to making web internet sites.

Could some nice people give me some tips on making my web site better in browsers other than internet explorer? I go to browsershots.org and they all look bad, but my internet makes them look good.

the website is www.pageset.net (http://www.pageset.net), and the text is changed colors and the other things moved around.

thanks.

You have to learn regular web development. :(
Minimum is HTML/CSS.
Here's the solution to your problem though: Get all the browser you know you're going to need, IE6, 7 and 8, FF and Chrome or Safari and start getting to know these browsers. All browsers have their little quirks, and knowing these is essential to web design.

Personally, helping you make that page look good cross browser is beyond the limits of an online forum. You need to learn how to make websites, and that might (or might not) take some time. I don't want to sound like a d**k, but it's the truth imho :)
<p align="center"><font size="+1"><img src="images/logo.jpg" alt="PageSet Publicity" width="335" height="85" hspace="0" align="left" /><font color="999999"><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;PageSet Publicity<br />

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;www.pag eset.net<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;256-604-8129</strong></font></font></p>

In HTML (and CSS where this should have been defined) all hex color values need to start with a pound sign: "#999999"
