Hi all,

Got a problem with a form background color in IE.

All other browsers display okay but IE loads the form with the correct background color (white) for a split second before rendering it a horrible yellow color.

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to sort it.

I have used this in my CSS file......

.form{
background-color: #ffffff;
}

Thanks all, regards,

Paul

it could be a plugin which is causing it like google toolbar or something

Okay guys found it.

Nothing to do with my CSS or IE. It was the google tool bar that was doing it.

It was set to auto highlight fields that could be auto filled.

Hope this helps someone else.

Regards, Paul

Iknow the OP has taken care of the problem, but for others that come across the same problem....

The tutorial is outdated:

1. The page for the dreamweaver extension does not exist anymore
2. Use the css code instead, much simpler

input[type='text'] { background: #FFFFFF !important; }

Thanks Ranjan, I'll put a notice on top of the tutorial as well with what you said above.
