I am trying to apply a style rule for a class id that will instruct the links within said "id" to be a different color in different states than what is directed in the page properties. When I go to edit the rule, there are no options for a:hover, a:visited, a:active. I don't have any experience hard coding css.

Please help, I'll forward you a winning UK Lottery email if you get it right.

Are there any features in the software that can accomplish this or is this something that can only be done directly to the code?

btw, I know I made a joke about the help. I just want you to know that it is much appreciated.

Hey CaliWilli - welcome.

Have you ever opened the CSS code?
Not being patronising but if you take a look it's a lot more user friendly than you think. It's not like PHP or Javascript (which make no sense to me) but it's actually quite 'literal'.

Open it up and take a look :-D

Go through Ed's tutorial and try and set a simple page up.
You'll feel you deserve a beer when you done !
Give it a go and upload what you've done and we'll problem solve from there :)
