OnClick is supposed to open a window. That works fine but in the browser the cursor does not change to a hand. I found another thread where I read that it should be an anchor.
1 - Shouldn't DW include the code automatically?
2 - Where do I enter the a?

Click <strong onclick="MM_openBrWindow('http://www.smithsferry.com/tortola.php','SmithFerries','toolbar=yes,location= yes, status=yes, menubar=yes, scrollbars=yes, resizabl e=yes,width=760,height=650')">here</strong> to visit the Smith Ferries website

Thank you.

Replace the STRONG with the A
<a href="http://www.smithsferry.com/tortola.php" onClick="etc
I wrote a little mini tut here:

I think you can add cursor: pointer; to the CSS of the element where you want the 'hand' to appear. I might be way off the mark as it's been a long day.

<a> gives you the right cursor right away ;)

That's why you are the master and I simply bother you for advice, he he. :-D

I used the "a" and it works just fine now.
Thank you very much.

I must have overlooked it before: the hand is there, the extra window pops up but the linked-to-website also shows up in the main window. So I must still be making a mistake there.
May I ask for your advice again?
Thanks.

See the tutorial I linked to above. You're missing the last step which have JS disable the href attribute
<a href="pop.html" onclick="window.open('pop.html','popup','height=250,width=3 50,scrollbars=no'); return(false);"> Link </a>

I am having this same issue but can't seem to get it to work with the suggestions. My link works just fine in a new resized window but I don't get the hand.

<td><div align="center"><img src="ccanglesmall.jpg" height="75" width="100" onclick="MM_openBrWindow('http://www.vanagonaccessories.com/ccangle.jpg','','width=750,height=429')" /></div></td>

I'm guessing it's that i don't have the A tag but had tried it in several places with no luck, any tips?

Thanks, Tom

You have to do the exactly the same thing as the original poster of this thread. Insert a link.

<td><div align="center"><a href="http://www.vanagonaccessories.com/ccangle.jpg" onclick="MM_openBrWindow('http://www.vanagonaccessories.com/ccangle.jpg','','width=750,height=429'); return(false);"><img src="ccanglesmall.jpg" height="75" width="100" /></div></td>
