Newbie Needs A (KICK) Start

Hello everyone.

Just signed up thank you for excellent website. http://www.webforumz.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

I am working on a uni project to create an e commerce website.
The site is for advertising jobs via companies and job seekers posting CV's
Both Job seeker and company needs to sign in and both job ads and CV's need to be fully searchable ie Full Text Search. Broken down by County, Area, Post code, Industry, skills. So i need two databases in the background.

I want to create the website with Dreamweaver and the databases with MYSQL.

Does anyone have any tips to get me started as i am new to all this.

IS Dreamweaver capable of creating such a site?

Kind Regards

yes as an editor but a knowledge of coding will be a must as I think it will be a stretch if you hope to use the wizards to create the queries etc

Thank you for your help

what about the username / Password facility?
is there a standard way of setting that up?

very . The problem with DW is that the code it produces is verbose and difficult to debug. it can create functional queries but the project you talk about will be ,I think beyond its easy scope.
If you check the tuts on this site a member DavidJ has made some vids to help learn php coding. I am sure he will be along with some comments for you soon
