Hi,
I put together this page on my laptop and then realised it's not centred when I opened it on a bigger computer.

I not too hot on web stuff so I don't know an easy way to remedy it. Any help would be appreciated on this.
Thanks
Joe

You are using absolute positioning so it will be a set distance from the left. This will stay the same with regardless of screen resolution so will not be centred. you need to check out relative positioning and i would advise staying away from tables.

Thanks for your help. I guess cos I', new to web pages I didn't really plan before I jumped in. Good way to learn I suppose.

I have looked at the page you referred too but I am still having trouble. The best I can do is center all the content but the background (using the rigid method). I would ideally like to use the liquid method for this site.

Sorry for any frustration my questions are causing you :(

Joe

the liquid aspect can be got by using relative positioning and divs in percentages.
