This is my first post. I'm using Dweaver8. I just recently created a header in fireworks. It was 800x100. When i dragged it on the workspace it didnt start at 0 thus bringing to somewhere around 820. Then when aDDED some text underneath on the next line I couldnt seem to center thatunder the header. When i used the center justification it pushed it way over to the right.

I know this is probably an easy fix but I am brand new to dreamweaver. I've been watching the lynda videos but this wasn't addressed.

thank you for your help!

i can be emailed directly at djmikey1@aol.com

Welcome to the forum!
Sounds like you're brand new not only to dreamweaver, bt also to the web design :)
1. All webpages have default margins. You can make them zero through setting the margins to 0 in CSS. The help files in DW can give you the introduction to get up to speed on CSS.
2. Make sure your text is in a paragraph tag, and then you can center it using CSS.

This answer gives you a little homework, but it's all good :)

Thanks, I'll check the help files. Are there any good independent help files anywhere?
