There's been some discussion lately about which CMS to use and also how client can update their websites.

Konductor claims to be a web standards CMS that integrates with DW's template system. For anyone serious about this, there's a pre-release program:
http://www.konductor.net/blog/

- System accepts native Dreamweaver templates
- The Dreamweaver extension allows you to upload sites without having to know all the technical details
- The Dreamweaver extension allows you to lock down what is allowed in editable regions, so you don't have to worry about clients breaking their sites
- The AIR application for users is super easy to use, which allows for true WYSIWYG editing, and image optimization
- It is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, keep your code clean and standards compliant, allow you to get your site up quickly and easily, and not scare your end users with some complicated user interface
