I am designing a web site , But i am still learning these web stuff which i haven't done before. I can do some basic stuff but not too much. Any way i have question about designing stuff.

Well, almost most of the web sites uses tables with their edges curved and stuff and with the button edges curve. How do we do that. Can any one please explain me how to do those sort of design, which might help in creating good web site.

Thank you.

tables cant be curved. more commonly sites use divs and images to give the appearance of curved edges

You will find that most websites (decent ones) do not use tables at all. Ed is correct, build with Divs and CSS.

I think you might be looking at "Rounded Corners" ?
If so - there are loads of tutorials... from little .gif corners to 5 coloured divs, absolutely positioned, to create the illusion of a rounded corner.

I think DoMedia had a tutorial on this?

Just quickly googled this... take a look: http://www.spiffycorners.com/
Explanations and coding here: http://www.ihsen.com/Support/CSS/PureCSSRoundedCorners.htm

If you consider rounded corners just 'pretty stuff' and you can live with older browser just displaying squares, you can actually use CSS.
Andy Clarke made a list of some great techniques he uses:
