Hi... in reference to this site: http://www.sherbetpips.com/build.htm

What do we know about the z-index ?
Are there known browser problems?

The reason I ask, is that on the SherbetPips site I want to be able to have a Body-BG - a full width header-BG and the wrapper on top.
I'm sure there are better ways of doing this but I'd be interested in people's knowledge on the subject :)

What do we know then ?

Rob

(For those that don't know - it's a layer property.
Take a look here: http://blog.doncasterlivemag.co.uk/ See how the top band, right at the top, is above the header and wrapper)

I know that a position:relative/absolute is necessary for the z-index to work properly. I think it's pretty browser friendly and accessible.

Firefox 2 and older don't handle negative z-indexes correctly.
