hello everyone, my name is sean and it is my first time on here, i am a total newbie but with the help of templates i have for the past 3 months been working on my own website

www.rooneys-of-roslea.com (http://www.rooneys-of-roslea.com)

my problem is, i have a widescreen laptop and when i view my website online it looks great, but when other people view it or i do on another pc, i have to use the scroll bars as my web pages appear too big.

i know for instance when you visit www.bbc.co.uk (http://www.bbc.co.uk) no matter what size of monitor you have, the web pages always fit perfectly yo the screen, so how do i get my web pages to do that?

sorry for maybe sounding a total novice, hope someone can help me.

Just like your page, that BBC page has a fixed width, but only of about 990px. It's centering itself in wider pages, but in narrow pages the horizontal scrollbar appears.
