Hi there,

Just wondering what people think here.

I have a 30 page + site. Manly about travel. I had left the page title with the website name. But people tell me for better search engine results it's better to name each page.

So lets say my site is called "Great Travel Resource Site". Now lets say a page in the site is called "Great Travelers" and within Great Travelers lets say Karl Bushby has his own page.

So should the page title be <title> Great Travel Resource Site: Great Travelers - Karl Bushby </title>

Or How would you name a page given the above style of information?

The Same for <meta name="description" content="

Should each page have it's own content description, or stick with the main description on the index page?

Many thanks for any help

Dave

So would it be better to have your site name in the title, or just what the page is about? If the site is called Great Travel Resource Site then

Which would be better for this page within the site:

<title> Great Travel Resource Site: Great Travelers - Karl Bushby </title>

or

<title> Great Travelers - Karl Bushby </title>

or

<title> Karl Bushby </title>

i think this is better
<title> Karl Bushby Great Travelers : Great Travel Resource Site </title>

than this
<title> Great Travel Resource Site: Great Travelers - Karl Bushby </title>

i would the most specific term first i.e. the actual page you're on, then the sub-section/section, then the site name. bookmarks are quite short and title displayed in the browser can be cut off quite short too - so it's easier to see it's the page about Karl Bushby ;)

Or just simply 'Karl Bushby - Great Travelers'.

'resource site' doesn't seem to be important keywords.
