View Full Version : difference of image Quality in dreamweaver!

Hi,

I have done some text with blending options(drop shadow, etc) and it looks

great in flash and photoshop:-D but when i export the fla into dreamweaver

and upload the page it looks crap :(

Can anybody help with some tips with this? Files and link are below.

Hey Paul. Can't answer your flash problem although check that you are not asking DW to resize the image using HTML as the results are far from perfect (just a thought).

What I did want to say mate is that the page you have linked to looks brilliant. The site has come on loads since I first saw it and I just wanted to say 'Kudos' great design :)

Just check if the image dimensions in the actual file are the same as they are on your page. I.e. if your image is 100px X 100px and you have asked it to fill a space of 150px by 150px then the HTML will resize your pic and make it look awful.

My flash swf width is 1220 and my container div is 1220 and its still very

bad quality is that what you mean?

Any more help/tips with this would be appreciated.

I really like the font style i made in photoshop and i would like to keep

it.

I had a falcon and the ewok forest (my hedges:-D)

Anyone else any thoughts?

Hi,

I got it by myself!!:-D woo hoo

I used modify/bitmap/trace bitmap in flash to change it to a vector!! yes

You were using bitmaps!!?? No wonder it looked bad. Gifs, jpegs, pngs. :)

Hi,

A GIF, JPG, and PNG file are all bitmaps.

Yes, I know but I thought you meant .bmp files. :)
