Was a stupid error on my part!!!!!!!!!! FIXED it. Corrosive like your new signature Image!:)

Quick question mate, if I want to put a background with a gradient, how would I go about doing that? Can I make a small image with a gradient in photoshop and then apply
background-image: url(http://www.example.com/gradient.gif);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
in the body tag?

Yes, that should work fella. Make a long, thin gradient (1 or 2 px wide) and then apply the code you have there. I have been PSing my new avatar today to try and get to grips with some tutorials. Here's the full thing...

haha, really nice mate! Where you seeing tutorials? any good place?

Dont wanna start another thread so Ill ask here. Im trying to get my Wrapper Div to have rounded corners...Ive been everywhere on the net(or at least it seems that way!) and Ive even had a look at some generators: http://www.roundedcornr.com/rc1.php

To try and figure it out, but I cant seem to apply the method to my own wrapper div! Any ideas on how to achieve this? ive got my four corner images....

On another note today has not been a good day. A friend of mine showed me a website hes making...really good stuff, I asked him how, as I know he doestn havea clue and he said he got a template off the internet(an illegal one as he got it off a p2p template sharing forum!). Sort of frusrtrated me...dedicating time and effort to learn and this guy has done much better work than me,simply by downloading a template!
Anyways rambling so ill STOP!
Cheers.

There are thousands. Just google it. Obviously I was looking at 'grunge' look tutorials today :) . I'll mail you some links when I get them again.

I have no idea mate. I'd make a whole box in PS. Rounded tops in a top div, repeated background all the way down and rounded bottom (can I say that?) in a footer div. I've seen a few tuts on rounded corners but they look so hard/complicated that I'd just make images. Lol.

Dude, sneak round his house, switch his PC on and mess with his stylesheets. That'll teach him not to learn properly. You will have the last laugh I promise. :wink:
