Take a look HERE (http://www.wireroses.co.uk/test.htm)

I have a problem with the position of the NAV in IE.
It registers ~30 pixels North of where FF puts it...

Any ideas ?

Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob,

I only took a quick look so far, but you have "#navlist ul" in your style sheet which doesn't exist. You should have either "ul#navlist" or just "#navlist" to style ul.

Great stuff... That's sorted it Cary !
Thanks for taking a look.

PS; ignore the rest of the page, it's being styled in WordPress...

I noticed the hover effect wasn't working in IE 6. Try this styling:

#navlist a:hover {
color: #333;
background: url(../images/nav-bg.gif) no-repeat 0 0;
}

It seems to be the shorthand background code that makes the difference, so the repeat and positioning don't matter, though they won't hurt either.

#navlist a:hover {
background: url(../images/nav-bg.gif);
color: #333;
}

I guess I should have defended the 'beret' comment but it's all true !
