if i want to make graphics for my website such as logos and buttons, is it better to make them the exact size first and then import them to DWeaver, or does it matter if i make them any size and then resize it in DW?

i'm losing sleep over this so any help from a pro would be greatly appreciated!

never resize using HTML (dreamweaver)

you will get very poor results

Just like Davidj said... dont resize in DW, use another program like photoshop, illustrator, gimp to do the job. If yuo are going to resize in DW try to make it small because you will get poor results.

For once I find myself agreeing with DJ. You will get poor results by resizing with html. Photoshop with png. 24 is the best i believe right now for displaying images.

don't worry DJ there will be others for me to correct you on. It's a must by now.

They are becoming standard but are not supported by IE6 and below.
If you can use a gif - use a gif. Get creative with your matte.
