how to arrange this text into a straight line in dreamweaver??

I'm not sure he is asking that Domedia. How about an ul diplayed inline? If this isn't what you mean then please rephrase the question and we'll take another look :)

I think he means to get a second column.

Inline means it would render out like text, which creates the opposite effect :)
Keeping the UL like it is would display it vertically.

One UL list, set LI to a wide width, so only 2 fit on each 'row'

Yes, I realise that :)

I thought "how to arrange this text into a straight line in dreamweaver" meant that he wanted it to render like text i.e. inline. I probably totally misunderstood the question...but my logic was good :wink:

That will work (but not semantically) if you want to arrange your list down one column first,then the other. :)

Your example list though, fills in one row,and then starts the second row. That is different.

Either way it is a list and should be coded as one. Try to get the structure of the document right first, then add style to it ;)
