Hmm, just as I thought things were getting clearer on forms.....
A recent thread raised the issue that I should probably be looking at PHP for form processing - I've had a look at 'hotscripts', and they look pretty good but so did the PERL scripts I'd found before elsewhere. Which should I use? Or are they much of a muchness?

they do the same job but use different syntax

if you feel comfortable with either then use that.

im no champion for any technology

the user has to make a choice regarding the learning process and how easy it is to learn and if the support is out there

PEARL and PHP has a wealth of support forums

Cheers, will have a good look into both. That learning curve sure seems steep!
