I have my page at a width of 1200 px, for older computers or monitors its a problem because a lateral scroll apears to fully see the page width. Is there a way that my page could resize to fit any monitor ?

Basically my page is made by Nested Div's (divs inside divs). The width is 1200

using percentages, width:100%;

And if I have a .jpeg inside a DIV, it will also resize ?

I was thinking about adding all my page inside a DIV to create a 100% width so it will always fit the browser, but to this to work, do i also have to change all the div's inside to percentages instead of pixels, and change the position to relative ?

if you have a page wrapper to hold your page, divs inside become child divs within it.
no they dont have to be percentages. images wont resize

OK, that was a lot of help...so, if an image can't resize, then it means that everything will resize and fit the browser but not the image ? Is there a way to fix this problem, so the image will also resize along with the divs as childs ?

Cant answer your question, but this is exactly why you shouldnt build a page over the web standard 1024 width. I usually build mine @ 900-950. Keep in mind, it's usually us, web geeks, that have the big/widescreens, not the general user!

there is some talk of scalable images but not supported very well it seems. would be useful if it did

Thanx.... but yeh its true... we geeks have bigger wide-screens... but the cliente wanted the width anyway....so, let it be his problem then.... than edbr and rattlsnak
