My problem is on Dreamweaver side, not Flash.

I have the same message when I was trying to modify my default.html code.
My message is: Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded.

My code is :

All I need to do is just to add the text (in red color):

you have to go into the lib file and change it there. Then it will update the page for you. Lib's are not changeable from you page directly, they are a separate file.

Done! thanks. :-D
I have another question just coming up:
One www.thequiltingschool.com (http://www.thequiltingschool.com) home page, there is a SWF file with several pictures images and rotating.

How do I use the Flash to change pictures?

How do I change the (Babyluck) images on the SWF file on the left handsite, ads.swf ?

Lynda.com will give step by step VTM's on this. You will need to learn a lot about flash since its not a quick process.

I do know some about Flash, and I did publish video on my website by making the SWF files on FLASH CS3.

What is VTM?

What is VTM? Just an uncommon way to refer to a Video Tutorial. We used to call our video tutorials VTM's on this site.

May I have the link to access to the Video Tutorial?

BTW, my previous question about the lib file:
I did make the change (add the text) on my lbi file: header.html.lbi, but I don't see it comes up to my website.
Why? Should I do other steps? (I am using the Dreamweaver.)

You have to edit it as a library item from within DW, you cannot just open the lib file and edit it.

Oright, will you please be more specific on "You have to edit it as a library item from within DW"? :)

Yes, I found my own on Help (Dreamweaver Help).
The change is done and worked. Thanks.

domedia,

Do you mean that the attribute has to be added before the element is changed to a library item?

I have a similar problem. My table has 3 rows and 3 columns. The last row is merged. The text in this row in centered: left. I have a footer which I changed to a library item. I want this footer align: center in this cell and this row where everything else is centered: left. (I am a student and taking a Dreamweaver class and don't know much about coding.)

thanks,

Rule 1, day 1, just after the part where you all go 'round the classroom' and introduce yourselves... Don't use tables for layout :-D

VTM is also the the extension of a particular type of dreamweaver config file which defines tags. unfortunately, I am nowhere near good enough yet to be able to make my own because the API's are NOT easy to use and the whole thing needs to be documented a little more clearly.

Yeah, going to have to agree with the lads. Did you pay for this course or is it a college/school thing??
