I have a huge problem with my tables when i see them in IE. There are perect in FireFox and Safari, but when viewed in IE they are not the way it should be, its like the CSS is disable or doesn't work properly. You can loke at my page and click the different gray buttons and the tables i'm talking about. You can notice that in FireFox the 5 pictures inside the table has a border with margin and there is a padding between the pictures, all perfectly fit in a 950 pix table. But in IE its all crazy, the borders, paddings and margins are not the way its meant to be. Why this happens, how can i fix it ?

You need a doctype at the top of your page, and you need to make sure there are no blank lines preceding it. As it is, you are making IE display in quirks mode which uses IE5's broken box model.

Mmmmm that is it kind of chinese for me... ok, let me gues.... I'm using Dreamweaver CS3, i think that Doctype is in code view and its manually written ? Can you give and example in how to do that or a way i can do it with the tools built in Dreamweaver ? Why i can see it perfect the way it should be in FireFox and Safari and not IE ..?

Select the menu, "Modify > Page Properties..."

Click on the Title/Encoding category.

For "Document Type (DTD)" choose "XHTML 1.0 Transitional" since you're already coding as if you were using xhtml, and transitional will give you less errors than strict.

Click OK and a message may pop up saying, "Couldn't fix 98 <img> element(s) without alt attribute". Just click Ok.

Now you have a doctype at the top of your page and no blank lines above it.
