View Full Version : Help: Playing a SWF file in php

07-04-2008, 11:11 AM
Please help me to understand how a swf file (flash animation) can be played in a php page.

I have tried the simple "Insert > Media > Flash" way to insert in Dreamweaver.
The flash file plays in my localhost server but does not play after uploading to the webhost server.

Please help !

Check few things
- On server, is ur php page and clients.swf file in same folder?
(it should be as you are giving relative path)
- Try giving absolute path like

If not giving us the link to the file on server please.

thanks davidj, Ok if yu\ou feel this should be moved to Flash thread, then let us see if someone helps me in this regard at the flash thread.

and many thanks ramandeep, i will surely try with your suggestion of using absolute path and post the observations here. please keep checking ..
