How about going back farther.

I used Cello and Amaya.

Cello = 1st web browser for windows (about 6 months before Mosaic)
Amaya = testing browser by the W3C ran on Unix only.

No Mammoths, but a few Sabretooths...

I even remember some of the first "personal" computers with tape decks for saving/loading your programs, EDBR.

My commodore 64 had a tape player/recorder.. that was fun, especially when I was stupid enough to adjust the position of the metal thingy that read the tape..

ah... I had a Dragon 64... oh, the POWER !

Chucky Egg & Manic Miner not included.
You could use any tape deck - just connect the headphone jack to the console... It could take 15-20 minutes to load a game and then it was only 16 colours...

ps; Don't forget your dongle !

That was actually the best thing about tape load computers. You could set it loading, go and have your tea and come back and play Jet Set Willy for a few hours before bed. Those were the days...none of this 'tapping your fingers impatiently if your broadband doesn't hit 8Meg download speed'!! :-D

Manic Miner not included. This must be my favorite game of all time..

yeah I still cringe at gifs that are more than about 20k worrying about download speed...
Ignoring, of course, the 1meg Flash menu...

Oh for a simpler time...Ghostbusters on the ZX Spectrum anyone?? Catching slimers and then tackling Mr Staypuft. Brilliant :-D
