Ok so I have got my first ever Dw site about half way there. I have a few more questions and here is one of them...

I have made my whole gallery in Fireworks CS3 and I have put all the files it spewed out into my local website folder and renamed the 'index.html' it gives me to 'gallery2'. Now how do I get that flash player into the real 'gallery.html' page without it spewing up all sorts of formatting. I have tried just copying the code but it has disrupted my formatting up and there's that much spewed I do not know where to start. So I am thinking about just re doing the 'gallery2.html' page to look like my others.

How would I begin to do that?

Thats my site as it is now.

You should be able to just insert the flash swf file into the page you want it to sit in.

Why can't you just insert the swf into the cell or div that you want it to appear in by click insert flash?

What code is it screwing up?

The only problem I can think of is the path to the images may need changing for the flash content.

Am I missing something?

I dont know about code, I am a complete novice. I have taken the home page, duplicated it and renamed it for the other pages. Then deleted the main content out of the div in the middle, when I put the flash swf in there it makes a huge gap between the itself and the menu, double what it is now.

Also, how do I reduce that gap other than setting the div to a minus top margin? I did that and I quite literally had to have it appear behind the menu in Dw for it to display without the gap in Fx and IE7.

Can you put the flash file on the page and upload it ?...

Ok I think I have sorted the space at the bottom. Just the space at the top. How do I centre it?! I put it in a div of its own and named it #flash but I cant get it to centre with auto left and right margins.

Also, is there a better way of making a gallery because I am so annoyed with the way portrait pictures show in it, they are not big enough. I am a novice, would it be hard to make a basic flash gallery in flash and integrate it? Where they could also click for a bigger image size? or should I have a seperate webpage for each picture I put on and make a thumbnail kind of gallery with each thumbnail being a link to the page?

Sorry for asking so much. I just have no idea what would be the best option.

Oh and I put the flash up like you asked....
