Hello all I am new to the forum and Dreamweaver. I am handling a transition of our website and have a issue. Some of the embedded image links are broken and I can't seem to access their region as they are backgrounds. They are part of a header and seem to be behind a layer and I can't seem to find the levels to replace the background. any help would be appreciated

<div align="center">
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" height="196" width="787">
<tbody><tr height="199">
<td background="../hike_files/ice_files/head06_01.gif" height="196" valign="middle" width="251"><p>
</p>
</td>
<td height="196" valign="middle" width="259">
<div align="center"><img src="../hike_files/ice_files/head06_02.gif" align="middle" height="200" width="259">
</div>
</td>
<td background="../hike_files/ice_files/head06_03.gif" height="196" valign="middle" width="277">
<div align="center">

Header one and two I just replaced the gif. can't get to image head06_03.gif being a background with a jump menu in front of it.
hope this helps

You cannot have links in backgrounds. Not possible, so that is not the problem.

Can you post a url or something to explain better?

Domedia: I have solved the issue. Link is not the word I should have used maybe referenced is better. The file it was referenced to was incorrect and I reset it in the properties menu. All is well. Thanks for the help and the correction I am a newbie but learn quick Thanks agian

ah gotcha :)
I think the right terminology is 'the path to the image' or something like that. Using the word 'link' will definitely give some confusion.

Funny, one of my friends is always called Pistol-Pete
