Hey i was wondering if someone could help me with this little hitch, i need to have a counter which counts down 5 minutes and then resets, i need this to be constantly happening even if there is not a person viewing the website, how i acheive this? As far as i was aware php only worked when it was being viewed, but ofcourse i may be wrong there.

I need this as i am going to have a check done every 5 minutes, so it's slightly vital. If this can't be done , a work around approach would be acceptable.

Thanks

Thanks for that suggestion ;) I have found a site: http://www.bitfolge.de/pseudocron-en.html that seems pretty good, so i'll likely use that.

Unless someone says otherwise about that code?

Thanks
