I have one website primary domain it www.tesseract.co.uk (http://www.tesseract.co.uk/) with another domain www.tesseractusa.com (http://www.tesseractusa.com/) pointing to it.

I would like the .com to have pages specific to US visitors. I am looking for a way to redirect to specific page based on the domain name.

In my scenario I have: /contact_tesseract.html which I want to detect the .co.uk or .com and redirect to: /contact_tesseractUSA.html if .com is true.

Hope you can give some advice.

Thanks
Richard

remember that a .com does not represent a US site. Anyone from any country can setup any domain

i advise you have a select country splash screen or button from within your site

example...

http://www.sony-europe.com/

additional...

also

by using 1 domain but using a country directory structure you could save a little on hosting

example...

http://www.ikea.com

Thanks Dave,
I have one site with common content on all but a few pages, so administering two sites is what I am trying to avoid. The splash page is not so good for SEO in this site.
