Hi, I need some suggestions for my graphic designe site URL.

I am leaning towards adding in the name 'tif' because it's a part of my name.

So far, I thought of: effectif.com or .ca or tifdesign.ca

Any ideas? or should I go with fleuron.com or something? I think I like my name in it.

any ideas appreciated...

you need something memorable

Ideally the name should be relevant to the work you do and the service you provide. This may help with SEO.

Admittedly your in a market where the Beret wearers call their sites PURPLE or YELLOW TAXI or ORANGE PEEL. Very contemporary!

With that in mind you could use anything for a name.

Regarding using the word tif. This will only be relevant to those in the industry. The Meaning of that word will be lost to 90% of your customer base so you will loose the querkyness of it. So will that make your name sound meaningless? I say, no more than CORNER POST or APPLE TREE or MARMALADE. My examples however are more memorable.

Please note that the above have probably been used by Apple when naming web services or applications. They wrote the book on that shite. They are probably bloody languages i have not learned yet.
