Im using dreamweaver CS3, and I'm trying to build a relatively simple image gallery. I'm not very experienced with php and mysql and I'm having problems getting my gallery sections to work. This is kinda tricky to explain so please bare with me.

Firstly the live dev site is here: http://www.theopengallery.co.uk

I have 2 tables.

'og_galleries' (gallery section) and 'og_pho' (image)

The problem starts at the dropdown menu 'galleries' on the homepage.

I would like to display images from a certain gallery when the gallery is select from the dropdown menu. How do I get this working? I think this is done from a url variable which queries both tables from the database but my understanding is limited at the moment.

Im not sure what other info I need to provide to get give you a greater understanding of the problem so if you need anything else I would be more than happy to post any code etc..

Turns out this was quite simple, the solution (which I over complicated in my head and previous post) is:

SELECT *
FROM og_photograph
WHERE pho_gal = colname
This was made in simple mode.

a gift to you from me.

its worth allot of money if you analyse whats gone in to them and what potentially you can get back from them and all for free!
