Hello

I am looking to start a project to build my own Content Management Tool/System and before i start i was wondering if there is anyone out there who has built there own before and also is PHP and MySQL the best method for building the tool?

Or should i consider ASP or another script?

Any advise would be appreciated?

Kind regards
Cocoonfx

Both PHP and ASP would work, but you know if you want to get help along the way that PHP is probably the best option ;-) PHP is wider used across the board, so I would go with that.

What type of cms are you wanting to create? Will it be adding web pages or making changes to web pages?

IMHO you could start by checking out some webhost providers that already offer as part of their packages various CMS and all kinds other tools. The work you do to create your own design. The tools are already there.

Cheers,
