Hello,
I've recently started using dreamweaver and i'm having a bit of trouble with frames. I inserted a background image, and aligned it on the top left hand corner. I then inserted a left and a top frame. The problem i'm having is the frames either cut off the background image, or insert beside the image. Is there any way to make the frames go over the image, without cutting/blocking it?

Also, i've been trying to figure out how to do rollover images. I can make the basic rollover, with alternating images, but i want to know how to make a menu with pop-up like images. It's hard to explain, so heres two examples of what i mean:
http://www.winebiz.com.au/wineries/
http://java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/
I tried doing it in flash, but realised the canvas would block existing content on the page.
And if i do this inside a frame, will the rollover only be restricted to inside that frame?

Any help is appreciated :3
Thanks.

I have been. I tried numerous websites but they are either not for my version of dreamweaver (version 8 ) or are not clear on the explanation.

Ok i had a look through, but i don't really understand what to do. Do i need to buy the products in able to make a pop-up menu?
I was looking at this tutorial:
http://www.projectseven.com/tutorials/navigation/auto_hide/index.htm
And i seen a mention of layers when i seen the movie clip. Would this be more effective then using frames?

Frames is not something you use to design your site, it's a way to add external content to your site, your approach here is f lawed. Reading some more tutorials and reading the help files will get you up to speed.
