Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I hope I can get help from this forum about dreamweaver.

When I make a link on an image, the blue lines always appears around the image, and it destructs my layout. It doesn't appear when I test the movie, and the layout is ok. But I don't like to see that blue lines.

Is it possible to remove those lines from the design view?

Thank you for any helps.

Set border to 0 (zero) for the image, or all images in your stylesheet.

Thx domedia,

But how should I set the border to 0 in style sheet?
body {border-style:0;}?

Thank you,
ayok

Only for images:
img {border: 0;}

sorry to hijack this thread, but is there a way to make the images default to a border size of zero? I used cs2 for a long time, and the blue image borders only appear as a default in CS3. Can this be changed?

Thanks!

this is referring to a css, i'm assuming. is there no way to have it as a program default, as in older versions of Dreamweaver (i.e. - using like a configuration file for the program or something?)

probably is some way by editing the config, but why wuold you do it this way when it's only one line in a stylesheet?! :)

It's not a function of Dreamweaver, but of CSS.
I have a standard stylesheet that I use all projects with. A mini CSS framework so to say. It defines some of the common style defaults that I'm used to work with. Like setting image borders to zero. For more about using CSS this way, have a look at Eric Meyers CSS Reset (http://meyerweb.com/eric/thoughts/2007/05/01/reset-reloaded/) or Yahoos CSS Reset (http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/reset/).
