Ok, I made my website template in Adobe, with a width of 750 and a height of 750 pixels and I height of 450 pixels.

I put it all together then sliced the images and put them into Dreamweaver.

However, when I preview my site, it has a lot of blank space around it, how can I edit this so It would work on any resolution?

The average screen resolution is 800x600, which is what you created your site for. But more and more people are viewing sites at 1024x768 or higher, which is how you are seeing your site, which is why there is white space around your site. You can fix this by changing your background to black and not white, or develop your site for viewing at a higher resolution.

centring your site horizontally would look better too.

I agree, but not everyone like to do that. It's weird. I went through a little faze where I wasn't sure what as the best way to go, center or left align. So, I surfed the web and looked at, probably over 1000 site, and came to the conclusion that it's about 50/50. I decided I liked center better and havent looked back.

As requested, the link is at http://www.northwestdiver.co.uk (http://www.northwestdiver.co.uk/).
I am pleased with it so far but still need to add such things as a picture slide show and need various other data for the website, as indicated.

Thanks for the help.

Looks good. Here are my thoughts:

Your header has the words "North West Divers" and it's a little blurry. Try saving it as a higher quality.

i also noticed that all your text was done in photoshop. Looks nice but now you have another graphic that has to load and your site will not be indexed by the search engines. Try just having the image as a background in a table and add the text on top of this.

Looks good though. It's a nice clean, simple site.
