View Full Version : Making text appear at the top of each cell

I've a site that has 12 pages, each with a table with 2 columns and up to 3 rows. It's not on-line yet, because I'm not happy with it, but I have another one that displays the same problem at www.wimmerahearingsociety.com.au.

When I've typed in the text (which looks pretty well spaced and equal in length) and preview it in a browser, there is always a space at the top of each column (cell) either on the left or right.

I am unable to get the text to be at the same level on the page!

Even with two cells absolutely filled (with an equal number of lines of text - no images - in each cell), I still get that 'unevenness' and it looks terrible - like a 10 year old kid did it.

Can someone help me with this please?

You might want to try using div tags instead of tables. You have tons more control, and you can set CSS styles for each individual div, such as leftmargin and rightmargin.

You can also cache divs within other divs, whick leaves you with the same functionality as tables.
