View Full Version : Open Browser In New Window (location)

This may sound stupid but here goes...

One of the links on my homepage activates a new window 640x480 which contains some sample imagery -

Can I specify where the window pops up on the screen (I dont want it to open top left like a regular page but more central to the document).

I have seen this on other sites... any suggestions?

Yes you can but the default dreameaver behaviour is a little lame although it does have some positioning settings.

You are best installing the 4LevelOpenbrowser.mxp extension for dreamweaver, this has more settings including one that just says centre.

If you include your email I'll email you the extension, really easy to install just go to your extensions manager which is just in your programs folder (where the Dreamweaver icon is located) just do file install and select the extension, restart Dreamweaver and your away.

Rather than open browser window just select open browser from the 4 level menu that will appear in your behavious panel.

If you don't want to email just type 4LevelOpenbrowser.mxp into Google and download yourself, its only a 6kb file.
