I just bought dreamweaver 2004 like a week ago, and i don't know what 99% of the stuff on it means but i want to make a gradient background for my website. Blue on the right and white on the left. ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

ALSO I DON'T KNOW WHAT CSS ,HTML, AND CODES ARE.

Marticus, as i know, there is no drawing tools in DW. You have to make the gradient image in a drawing programm, like photoshop (there is free ones too) and set it as background image in the page properties dialog box (In the properties inspector.

Next to the background image field there is a browse button, find the image where you store it.

This is going to be an extremely long and hard learning curve unless you sit down with the manual for a while.. Especially since you only had the software for a week, and as you say, know nothing about html, css, 'codes' etc :(
