View Full Version : How to add a signature to an email???

Ok I've never had to do this before but a client wants a fancy signature for each of their emails. I've created the html in DW - now I just need to know which part I cut and paste into a signature:

Many thanks!

not sure what you want here

you have an email address on a page which is clickable by a user

so who is the signature for??

JBD, if your client wants to use it from his email software, consult the information/user manual regarding that particular software.

I hope you see it as intended, this is how it's supposed to look:

The signature is for the director (Norman) - I thought of having the email address clickable as then if the email is forwarded on to many people then anyone can email Norman directly via the link.

I thought it was quite standard to have a feature within an email app where you can add html to create a signature, such as in hotmail:

I believe he uses outlook which I guess would also have the same feature??

All I need to know is what piece of the html do I need to cut from the web page I created:

and perhaps any extra html to make it work.

<img src="http://www.cannonsecurity.co.uk/IMAGES/OTHER/Cannontitleimagebar.jpg" />

that will display the banner.

with Outlook you can create stationary and it will attach images.
save in it in (usually with windows) ..C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery...... make a folder images, save image in it and link to the image in it . this will attach it when you send a mail
