Hi guys,

A friend asked me to give him some basic/introductory Photoshop training. Are there any handy "newbie" tuts around for a complete beginner? Any pointers in the right direction would be good. I did "google" but I'm not really finding anything suitable.

Thanks

Stoney

Tell him to click F1 (Help Center) to get started, especially if he is new to the software.
Once he starts to understand the UI and different tools, most of the PS tutorial link sites have beginner categories.

photoshop is too huge to have a basic tut

best thing is to start with the drawing tools using layers.
Cover the panels in an overview.
move onto image manipulation.
and look at filters
