As a little exercise, I tried to copy the site design for one of Mozilla's pages.

I used layout tables, but notices that, unlike Mozilla's:

Mine doesn't fit tightly onto the side and top of the page:

Even though the layout table I'm using is as far up and as far left on the Dreamweaver page as I can make it. How can I make it fit properly?

EDIT: I didn't set the margins in the "Page Properties" dialog. I had to set the top, bottom, left and right margins to 0.

Thanks

For one thing,

You would'nt have the complete CSS which Mozilla keeps close to its chest. Oh you can make mockup like most that try to mimmic (rip) sites (not saying you are ripping) its good practice what you are trying to achieve. Are you tip toeing into templates as a hobby maybe? What I am saying really I guess it can't ever be the exact Mozilla.

The question is I think you need the verticle align and horizontal align the page?

Try this:

div#wrap {
position:relative;
top: 8px;
width: 710px;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}

Good luck!
