Is there a way to make an image link to a webpage?

The problem I'm having is with the names in the top right. I want to link those images of the names to their myspace pages, and I cant seem to figure out a way to do it.

Please help!

Something like this maybe, use your own address of course:

<a href="<img src="images/books" alt="book and wave icon"</a>

You do need the link to myspace for it to work.

First send the images to your host, then grab the address to put in the link I gave you.
So for example,
<a href="<img src="myspaceaddress.com" alt="Jenny Coleman"</a>

The address is always always lower case, the alt tag which is important for the blind, and screen readers can be cap/lower case.

now although that probably should have helped me, it definately did not.

I know nothing about code, I build using the design mode. Im a huge noob. Is there anyway to do it that way?

Go get the address by clicking your image in your host cpanel or the code they give you for a forum, then come back and tell us.

There is nothing to it watch where this takes you by clicking my link:

First I sign to my host cpanel, then go to file manager. Then next I need my image so navigate to dwimages folder then click my image to get this address:

It gives an address like an ie address does for DW club so we highlight and then click on the image icon in this post area:

Posted. You now do what i said and bring the myspace address for your image please.

Ok we'll do it by url:

Im not sure what you want me to do. I didn't really understand what you said.

From what I understand you want me to get the link to the image I want to link?

I couldn't get the image to actually post here.

This is what I got.

So here is a link; http://rosettasstone.110mb.com/Buttons/Jonny.jpg

EDIT. Why is it coming up as forbidden??

edit again, its showing the image in the post now, i dont know why it didnt before.

That be right, the red 'x' thats because your image is not where ie expects it to be. If you only want to upload the text then I have it.

Its 404 here but not in my e-mail from the forum here:

<a href="<img src="http://rosettasstone.110mb.com/Buttons/Jonny.jpg" alt="Jonny"</a>

Now it may just be that ie does'nt like that alt tag but try this link anyway:

That does'nt work yet the text imag shows..strange..
I tried it at mine as well as here and its saying not authorised! I tried url/image and nothing is working.
