When you hover my links, the entire cell is not changing colour and I dont knwo why, the bottom still remains the background colour.

Here is my css. Any ideas?

<style type='text/css'>
<!--
a{text-decoration:none;color:#343434;}
a:visited{color:#343434;}
a:hover{display:block;height:100%;width:100%;text-decoration:underline;color:#FFFFFF;background:#343 434;}
a:active{text-decoration:none;color:#343434;}
.point{
cursor:hand;
}

Your code only changes the Anchor (Link), not the cell, that is why the cell is not changing background-color, only the link does.
Quick fix is to:
1. Remove the TD height. Table cells adjust automatically.
2. Remove the DIV inside the TD, it has no purpose
3.Remove the font tags that inside the DIV. You are styling your links with CSS so no font tags are needed.
4. remove the CSS rule .point from the stylesheet. It is not used anywhere

Then change your CSS to this:

a {text-decoration:none; display: block}
a:link {color: #343434;}
a:visited {color:#343434;}
a:hover {color:#fff; text-decoration:underline; background:#343434;}
a:active {color:#343434;}

Your current navigation column consists of 3 nested tables. It could easily be replaced by a web standards UL list. I could write on up for you if you want, so you can see an example of styling stuff without having to use tables, which is best suited for tabular data.

Right, Im really happy with my home page now, but I would like to change the css so that my links are verdana and -1 in size.

I have tried and i can get the text right, but then i have the same problem with my cell background on hover!!!!!!
