HELP. I've just uploaded a web site, and everywhere a (pound) sign appears, a A appears before it .... like this:

The sale of a location guide, "Greengrass' guide to Goathand", raised £1000 for Martin House Children's Hospice in Boston Spa.

It also happens on a page of prices, some have the A before the , some don't.
£1.75 ea. £2.00 £10.00

I've tried re-typing it, tried a different font, tried default font still can't loose the A. Any help please ????????????

This is the code for one line of prices. All of them show up on the web site with the A in front of the sign.

<td height="30" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" class="style8"><div align="center" class="style24"><span class="style17">Adjustable Baseball Cap<br />
4.00</span><span class="style25"></span></div></td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFFFF" class="style8"><div align="center" class="style24"><span class="style17">Aidensfield Bookmarks</span><br />
<span class="style25">1.75 ea.</span></div></td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFFFF" class="style8"><div align="center" class="style24"><span class="style17">Souvenir Fudge</span><br />
<span class="style25">2.00</span></div></td>
<td bgcolor="#FFFFFF" class="style8"><div align="center" class="style24"><span class="style17">Spoon Rest</span><br />
<span class="style25">2.00</span></div></td>

the pound sign needs to be a html symbol

&pound;

Thanks a lot ............ that's done the trick. I would never have found that in a month of sundays.
