Hi David I don't know if this is for you or the HTML boys.
If a person press the back button can you stop them from going back a page and redirect them to the login page.
What happening is in some browsers when they have viewed the availablity page and return to the update page and then try to update it it will not update, so I thought it would be easer to redirect every body back to the login page.

what you could do is have a dummy page

like this....

form page > script page (db update) > dummy page which redirects imediatley > confirm page

if you use the back button from this confirm page it would take you to the dummy page which redirects back to the confirm page imediatley. Its the script page which does the magic but this is never reached as the dummy page is always in the way which redirects back.

just use a <meta redirect in the dummy page but keep it blank

hope this makes sense
